Sign up for a gun safety course in your area. They are happening all the time, and nearly every state has them somewhere, so find one and sign up for it. Some of them are free when sponsored by the NRA and other organizations. For the young shooters, the NRA "Eddie Eagle" program is AWESOME! It helps them to understand the basics of gun safety, and gives them and adorable character to associate with.
